अगर आपके पास Aadhaar card नहीं है तो हो सकता है कि आपका mobile number
बन्द हो जाये क्योकि Central Government ने अब आधार card को new mobile
connection के लिए Mandatory कर दिया है प्रत्येक mobile phone connection
Aadhaar card से link होगा। अब Aadhar card के बिना कोई new mobile
connection नहीं मिलेगा। Government ने सभी telecom operators से कहा है कि
जितने भी मौजूदा mobile customer है उनको 1 year के भीतर आधार कार्ड से
re-verify करे। It means Aadhaar card based e-Know your customer (KYC).Hon’ble Supreme Court ने 6 February, 2017 को एक order जारी किया कि सभी telecom operators अपने subscribers के mobile numbers को aadhaar card से link कराये और नए SIM Card बिना Aadhaar Card के ना बेचें और सभी telecom operators अपने new and old subscribers का aadhaar-based eKYC verification कराएं ।
Friday को issue किए गए telecom (DoT) notification के according अगर आप mobile subscriber हैं तो आप 6th February, 2018 तक अपने mobile connection को आधार कार्ड से link (verify ) करा ले otherwise आपका mobile number बंद हो सकता है। एक अनुमान के मुताबिक, इस re-verification पर सभी telecom companies का लगभग खर्च Rs 1000 crore आएगा।
13.02.2017 को telecom industry के साथ एक meeting आयोजित की गई जिस में UIDAI, Trai and PMO representatives को बुलाया गया जिसमें Hon’ble Supreme Court के निर्देशों को कैसे implement किया जाये इस पर discussion हुआ
सभी telecom operators अपने Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers को electronic/print media के माध्यम से इस news order के बारे में inform कराएं और regular SMS send करना होगा। e -KYC प्रक्रिया शुरू करने से पहले telecom operators को यह भी देखना होगा की subscriber sim card को use कर रहा या नहीं। Mobile numbers को verify करने के लिए verification code send करने के निर्देश दे दिए गए है, जो Aadhar पर आधारित e-KYC का आधार होगा।
Telecom Operators Will Spend Rs 1000 Cr To Re-Verification
Telecom analysts के according telecom operators को approx Rs 1000 crore खर्च करने पड़ेंगे इसAadhaar based re-verification process में.
Aadhaar re-verification process के बारे में जागरूक करने के लिए telecom operators को अपने prepaid and Postpaid customer के लिए TV/print ,digital advertisements and text message का सहारा लेना पड़ेगा।
यदि मौजूदा customer अपने mobile connection को aadhaar से verify नहीं करते है तो आप का connection काट दिया जायेगा जिससे आप का बड़ा नुकसान हो सकता है।
Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) के director general Rajan Mathews ने कहा था। “It is indeed a big challenge for the industry as this will entail capital expenditure,”, adding, “It could cost at least Rs 1,000 crore in training people, getting recognition devices and setting up processes,”
इस नए order से JIO कम से कम प्रभावित होगा क्योकि JIO पहले ही अपने 100 million customers का 100% Aadhaar based e-KYC कर चुका है। JIO ने starting से ही new sim पाने के लिए Aadhaar card को mandatory किया था।
